Build up on the tiles as well as in between the grout lines can be stubborn to remove unless you take proper care of your floors with routine maintenance. All tile and grout cleaning includes a sealer as we believe your floors should be protected after being freshly cleaned.

On every tile cleaning job we will include a sealer for FREE! This will help protect your floors from future staining and will make your weekly cleaning easier.

Sweep or vacuum your tile floors a couple of times a week. Sand and grit can dull and scratch the surface. Once you’ve removed the dirt, you’re ready to mop.

Mix a mild detergent with hot water and apply with a rag or chamois mop instead of a sponge mop. A sponge mop pushes dirty water into the grout and soils it.

Change your bucket of cleaning solution often so you won’t have a dirty mop that leaves a cloudy film of dirt on the floor.

You can also make your own cleaner by mixing lemon juice or vinegar with hot water. Apply it to the floor and then buff dry with a clean cloth. You can use a towel that you push over the floor with your foot.

However, whenever using vinegar or any acidic type of cleaner, you will want to rinse the floors with clean water afterwards. This will ensure no residue is left behind.

We do recommend using a neutral pH floor cleaner for your weekly floor maintenance.

This will not leave a residue on your floors. Only use a lightly damp mop to clean your floors with and be sure to rinse it out frequently, do not use a mop that is dirty otherwise you will only be spreading the dirt around into the grout lines.
